New President of GPC of IFMA |
New Board Members elected at the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of IFMA!Providing Members with Continuous Growth and Development Opportunities I’m looking forward to an exciting year with the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of IFMA!
I hope everyone enjoyed their summer! I am very excited to be this year’s Chapter President and I’m looking forward to working with such a great group of professionals. Please join me in welcoming our newest board members – Scott Binder, Vice President; Scott Shelley, Treasurer; and Marcella Garwood, Program Committee Co-Chair. The Board recently met to discuss our goals and objectives for the 2010/2011 year. I am happy to report we have a very motivated and enthusiastic Board of Directors working hard for our membership. In recent years, the Philly Chapter has taken a leadership role with new initiatives in both education and governmental affairs. As a result of the tireless efforts of our Education Committee, we are looking forward to kicking off Temple University’s Facility Management Bachelors degree program on September 15th. In addition, we have committed to continuing our partnership with PACE to keep FM professionals up to date on local and state legislative issues. A few of our members will be attending Advocacy Day to be held in Washington DC on September 21st and 22nd. |
