Lincoln Financial Field Tour Feeling a little Donovan McNabb underprivileged in the off-season? If you had participated in the GPC of IFMA's Lincoln Financial Field Tour on April 23, you would have had a chance to see where McNabb and all the other Eagles suit up and hang out. You'd also have had a back-of-the-house look at the most intimate details of the building. Conducted by Eric Enders, the tour was more than just a trip into the locker and boilers rooms of this huge and complex facility. Enders is facility manager for "Linc" and an employee of the Philadelphia Eagles organization. Here are some facts that Enders provided: - The Eagles purchase 25 percent of their electricity from green energy sources -- including wind and reclaimed methane gas -- from landfills
- Five hundred seventy-two lights illuminate the playing fields utilizing 1,144,000 watts of power
- Up to 5,000 individuals work at the stadium during each Eagles home game

- The 69,054-seat stadium sits on 43 acres of land
- With over 100 miles of broadcast cable, 7,200 tons of reinforced steel, 15,500 tons of structural steel, 58,500 cubic yards of concrete, and 53,000 linear feet of handrail, the Linc is one of the sturdiest buildings around
- The turf is heated by 28 miles of heating pipe and watered by 50 sprinkler heads
- The video boards and stadium displays set the Eagles back $9,000,000; it is one of the largest and most sophisticated techological arena in the NFL
- The HDTV video boards located at the end zones feature 68 billion shades of color
- There are 38 women's restrooms compared to only 33 men's restrooms
