He has participated in and earned multiple student FM-related competitions while maintainint a 3.5 GPA.  Sam will be graduating in December, 2009 and plans to pursue a career with one of the companies he interned.  He has narrowed his choice to Sodexho as top candidate while pursuing his MBA.

I wanted to express my sincere appreciation as a recipient of this year's 2009 IFMA Foundation scholarship from the Greater Philadelphia Chapter.

I am deeply honored and gratified.  I am finishing my final semester at Brigham Young University and because of this generous offer will be able to complete my undergraduate education completely debt-free.  It has been a long road to reach this point and this scholarship is helping me in a tremendous way to finish this part of my education.

I plan on explaining the details of how the Chapter's generosity will be assisting me and some of my goals in future correspondence, but wanted to express my appreciation as quickly as I could.

Please forward this email to those responsible for facilitating the scholarship.

My thanks,

Samuel N. Kelly

Ruhtab Sahota, Wayne State University, Graduate

Ruhtab has amassed a very impressive selection of awards, recognitions and certificates for academic, professional and civic accomplishments.  Ranging from being selected as the Professional Technician in the FM department at Wayne State to winning recognition for writing a paper on Waste Management, Ruhtab has proven himself to be an exceptional student.  He currently holds a 4.0 GPA in MS Construction Management and has plans to continue a career in FM.

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to you for making the IFMA 2009 Scholarship possible.  I was thrilled to learn of my selection for this honor and I am deeply appreciative of your support.  My name is Ruhtab and I am currently a Student and  Project Technician at Wayne State University.

I would like to thank you for your generosity; I have found a new desire to try my best.  I am currently majoring in Construction Management with a positive hope of becoming a successful Project Manager.  The financial assistance you provided will be of great help to me in paying my educational expenses, and it will allow me to concentrate more of my time in studying.  This scholarship award, thanks to the kindness of the Board of IFMA - Philadelphia Chapter, will further assist in achieving my education and career goals, and increase my chances of success.  Without a doubt, this award will prove to be extrememly valuable for me, helping to reduce the financial burdens of pursuing a degree in Construction Management.

I hope to become an individual that makes my institution, my mentors and my family proud, epitomizing all of the values your organization and IFMA stands for and by which it has created its highly-regarded reputation.

Once again, I offer my sincerest thanks for your generous support.

Sincerely,

Ruhtab S. Sahota
